CFM Career Finder Marketing - Terms of Service

Terms and Conditions 

§   The CFM Direct Interview Referral Service offered by The Company consists of marketing to hiring and recruitment authorities for the purpose of finding job and career opportunities and referral to the types of employment sought by Customers including all research required to identify suitable prospect companies and, where deemed necessary by The Company, resume modification.  

§   Direct Interview Referral Service Members receive referrals to all positions submitted and found that match their requirements and qualifications during the Membership period purchased.  

§   The CFM Guaranteed Interview Booking Service offered by The Company consists of marketing to hiring and recruitment authorities for the purpose of finding job and career opportunities and referral to and securing interviews for the types of employment sought by Members including all research required to identify suitable prospect companies and, where deemed necessary by the Company, development of professional presentation scripts, and resume modification.  

§   Guaranteed Interview Booking Service Members receive both the Direct Referral Service and Guaranteed Interview Booking Service to secure an unlimited number of interviews during the Membership period purchased. 

§   The CFM Job Referral Access Pass entitles the Customer to referrals to positions submitted to and found by CFM that match his or her requirements and qualifications where there is not a CFM Premium Member applying, interviewing, or being considered for the position.  

§   The CFM Resume Expert Service offered by The Company consists of the creation of a professional resume to the satisfaction of the Customer with electronic storage and lifetime updates as required.  

§   The Company guarantees to ensure that all referrals made and interviews booked by The Company are for opportunities that meet the Member’s stated requirements with regard to discipline, geographic location, minimum compensation, work environment and future growth potential. 

§   The Company guarantees to obtain approval from the Member before disclosing his or her identity to any prospect-company.  

§   The Customer has the right to refuse any referral and/or interview proposed by The Company and agrees to immediately inform The Company when interviewed by and/or offered employment or other engagement by a prospect-company.

§   Where the annual maintenance fee has been paid the Employment Stability Guarantee entitles the Member to service equal to that of the original Membership purchased to find new employment. 

§   The Company reserves the right to suspend or terminate The Service if any invoices are not paid within thirty (30) days and to terminate The Service for any reason by refunding the fee paid for the service. 

CFM No Risk Refund Guarantee  

§   If during the Refund Eligibility Period listed in the table below for a Membership Purchased the Member has not accepted a job with an employer referred to by The Company the Member may choose to receive a refund of the amount paid to The Company less the corresponding amounts stated for each interview attended with and/or job offer received from employers referred to by The Company. 

     Regardless of the number of interviews attended or job offers received The Company guarantees to provide the Membership services purchased until the Member accepts a job with an employer referred to by The Company. 

§   All refund requests must be made to The Company in writing during the Refund Eligibility Period.  

§   Fees paid for Resume Services, Consulting Sessions and Interview Coaching are Non-Refundable.  

§   Refunds will be issued via mail in the form of a company cheque and The Company reserves the right to take up to twenty-one (21) days to issue a refund.  

Confidentiality and Termination 

§  The Company and Customer each agree to keep confidential all dealings with each other and not disclose them to any third party without written approval from the other party.

§   The Company shall no liability for damages resulting from the use of services by the Customer.

§   This Agreement shall be governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario in Canada and may be terminated by the Member by providing ten (10) days written notice of termination to The Company.

§  Upon termination of this agreement by either party any amounts owed to The Company become immediately due and payable.

The Customer accepts that if any part of the Terms of Service is void or unenforceable for any reason, it shall be severed without affecting the validity of the balance of the covenants.
